Buddy has been in the car business since the late 90’s. Multiple Honda COSL award winner. He’s happily married and has been for ever, and has 2 grown boys who live in the area too. Buddy lives out in the country on 10 acres and loves the “country life”. He’s got 2 rescue dogs, Blue and Maggie. His hobbies include: Fighting off bears, Photography, Mountain Biking and Cooking…. Don’t forget to ask him about his world famous, award winning Paella.
Who’dat? Hudec! Dustin Hudec to be precise. He’s one of those softly spoken, gentle giants (he’s not quite a giant though, yet!), and loves to help do exactly what we ask of all our consultants – help you find the right car that works for you. Sounds simple, but so many dealerships miss the mark. Outside of work, he loves to grill, is quite a dab-hand at making kolaches (the fruity ones), and is forever going on about his love for one day being on Master Chef – the one that bakes those awesome cakes.
Vihn came, left and… came back! He realized that working at any other Honda dealership in the central Texas area just wasn’t the same as working here. Yes, he saw the light!!! Outside of work Vinh is an avid cyclist (off-road) and takes part in as many competitions as he possibly can. He also loves extremely hot, spicy food and is one heck of a cook. Be sure to ask him for a sample of his famous rib rack.
Jeff is the driving force behind the ethos of continuous improvement and team betterment within our Service Center – in a bid to genuinely deliver the best experience when you visit – whether that’s to pick out some additional genuine Honda accessories or pick up a spare part, get your oil and filter changed or perhaps you need something a little more complex done to your vehicle… He’s on it. When not in the building, he’s got a thing for karting — his go-fast 125cc shifter kart looks like too much fun!
Every member of our team plays a vital role in keeping things moving smoothly… and while you’ll rarely see Brad, let alone hear him (he’s tucked away in the parts department), he ensures his years of experience flow through him into making for a quietly efficient operation – from the smallest washer to new dashboard, wheel locks to a wiring harness or spare key fob – Brad keeps tabs on it all! Outside of work, his love for roasting coffee is rather impressive. His ‘Vietnamese Sweet Tar’ and his ‘Guatemalan Heat’ roasts are his fave!
There’s not much Shannon can’t do and if there is something we haven’t found it yet. Shannon has multiple duties here at Round Rock Honda and does them all exceptionally well. Shannon is originally from Canada but has been in the USA for 10 years. She is happily married and has two dogs. Shannon is exceptional at crafting but her biggest passion is ‘Competitive Dog Grooming’.
Lee is originally from Dallas and moved to the Austin area back in the 80’s. Another Honda COSL awarded employee too. Lee started in the car business in the mid 90’s and joined Round Rock Honda in 2010. Lee’s motivated to say, “to help find you the right car-and in doing so, to make it as easy as possible.” Lee has a son and daughter who he’s very proud of and a gerbil called John.
Where do we to start with Joe… From Michigan, via the world to us here in Round Rock. We just wished he’d gotten here sooner! He loves his truck, and outside of work, we swear if he wasn’t in this industry he’d be treading grapes and making his own wine – and not any normal kinda wine, we’re talking the finest, sweetest and most aromatic of wines. He’d have it no other way. Joe will look after you with biggest of smiles, and a bigger heart. What more could you ask for with your next vehicle purchase!
Trish has been working in customer service since the mid 80’s. A multiple Gold Honda COSL winner, Trish takes pride in giving excellent service to all her guests. She’s been a recipient of the prestigious Honda Council of Sales Leadership award every year to-date since joining Round Rock Honda. Trish loves helping her guests get the vehicle they want with a payment that fits their budget and needs. She’s married to her husband Scott since the mid 90’s and has 4 children – and is now a Grandmother! Trish says, “I hope to serve you real soon”.
Carl joined us in 2017, a then completely new face to the car industry and Round Rock Honda. He’s ready to help you with your next purchase. Before joining us, he was teaching in Killeen ISD for over 20 years. He enjoys outdoor cookouts, working in the yard or playing with his pets down at the lake. Carl’s favorite past time is hanging out with his family and nurturing and growing a YouTube channel that promotes skin care.
Ron joined us in December 2015, and has been awarded Honda’s COSL multiple times since. He’s a guy who will make the time you need to work with you all the way through the car buying process at your pace. He’s softly spoken, mild mannered and is rather handy in the garden too so we’re informed! Outside of work, he loves rolling his sleeves up and getting stuck in to projects and was once crowned ‘Giant Jenga Champion, AK’.
Who’d have thought this tech-guru would turn, becoming a great success at looking after you and people just like you with their new or new-to-them vehicle… That’s exactly what Naz did! Naz is also the recipient of Honda’s COSL award too. Naz was born in Bangladesh, lived in Belgium for a while and has eventually made Texas his home. Outside of work, Naz enjoys a good game of poker, and on Sundays can be found playing the role of ‘Bar Keep’ in a Wild West Re-Enactment show.
Maddie is a hoot! She’ll light up the room even if she doesn’t have a flash-light handy… lovely, bubbly, lively and energetic – she’s a real people pleaser and loves her go-faster car too. If you’re needing any sort of pick-me-up type of tonic, she’s the natural feel-good factor. When not at the dealership, she loves music, spins the ones and twos, and is quite the vocalist too with a Whitney Houston rendition that will blow the doors off.
Garry is one of our many team members that have turned to the car industry as a second career after being dismayed with how they were treated when they themselves went to buy a car in the past. He’s one of those gentle, quiet types, easy to get along with, softly spoken, and dare we say a little cuddly too! Before working for this award winning Penske Automotive Group dealership, Garry was in the adventure travel business for many years. The 2020 Covid outbreak put a stop to that, but, he’s found his feet here with us offering great customer care and service… Outside of work he plays the flugelhorn – not a single one of us guessed that one!
Ed has been in the car industry most of his adult lift and is a true Austinite! He’s a fabulous guy, ready to go to bat for you on the vehicle you need. When you arrive, Ed also goes by the name ‘Magoo’ (as in Mister Magoo), so don’t be overly surprised if you hear that nickname crop up now and again! Outside of work, Ed loves to read and practice yoga.
Ulises speaks Spanish and English and moved here from the East coast in 2017. At his interview he said that he’d love to be of great service to everyone he engages with and as a result, be able to look after his family… The good news is – he continues to achieve both his goals! Uli has a great personality and is an experienced snorkeling instructor and former pearl diver.
Ben started at the same time as Gerry in 2021… and you can probably guess the number of times we referenced a certain brand of ice-cream right? Too many times… Ben came to us from another dealership and has excelled in understanding customer needs and finding customer solutions here. Chilled, laid-back yet efficient and effective at getting the job done without any fuss is Ben. Outside of work he’s got a ton of varied interests, a couple of them being old British classic re-runs of ‘Miss Marple’ and US classic re-runs of the ‘Rockford Files’ with Jim and his Dad, Rocky! Ben says on Sunday afternoons he loves to prep his healthy eating regime for the week ahead, which includes mango, passion fruit and bananas.
Terry has been with Round Rock Honda since 2000. Terry speaks fluent Vietnamese and he is most known for his smiling face and his regular greeting of “Happy Holiday!” – Terry believes every day is a holiday! He likes to travel & dine out and loves to play the Texas lotto, mega million and power ball… but is yet to win big! We all hope he remembers his friends at Round Rock Honda when he finally does.
Robbie has been the smiling face that greets customers at Round Rock Auto Group since 1998. She drives 50 miles to and from Burnet, Texas because she loves her job! Robbie also enjoys spending time with and spoiling her 4 grandchildren, great grandson, and 2 dogs Molly & Ce-Ce.
Eli has been with Round Rock Honda since 2011. Originally, he is from Brazil, lived there for many years, and still has many family members back home. He came to the United States because his daughter moved here and she told him about the many opportunities available. He has enjoyed experiencing a new culture and also a new language! Eli took part in the TV show ‘The Bachelor’ back in Brazil a staggering 3 times (we’re not entirely sure what happened!).
Roman is bilingual; fluent in Spanish and English, and ‘gets it’… He gets the need for attention to detail, listening and understanding and helping people, much like you, hopefully get what they’re looking for. Roman is a keen Bocce Ball player; there’s a place not far from the dealership that he says he can often be found practicing on – many times with a headband mounted flashlight apparently in the early hours of the morning! True commitment if you ask us!!! Maybe challenge him to a game if you get to work with him.
Sam has worked here for a significant number of years, having worked in many departments in the past, his experience and knowledge on the whole process is second to none. Outside of work, he’s a man on a mission – loves concert-going, staying active, eating somewhat healthy, and most surprisingly still has time to look after a butterfly sanctuary that he’s nurtured for several years now.
Evan grew-up in the car industry as his Dad worked here some years back… Multiple Honda COSL awardee. Now it’s Evan’s turn. Evan is a caring soul with a passion for making your experience efficient and hassle-free. He’s an avid golfer and also loves experimenting by brewing different craft beers – his favorites so far that he’s produced have been ‘Big Spender’, ‘Whatta-Ride’ and ‘Curly Shirley’.
Joshua joined the team here in the early part of 2018. He’s now firmly planted in central Texas having grown-up in Indiana. He tried out for the Pacers in his teens interestingly, but realized that he had a calling for helping people get the car they needed instead. In his spare time he also enjoys synchronized trampolining and has won several competitions to-date under the name ‘big bouncer’.
There’s not too many people that have worked in both our Service Center and our Sales Center – however Nadia can check that box! From Cashier over in our Service Center to one of our highly important Sales Administrative Assistants now; she’s got the job of making sure the wheels stay oiled and spinning on a number of processes and back-room tasks and duties that you’d never imagine went into running a dealership. From time to time you might see her on our Reception Desk too, and at other times she might be ensuring your license plates and registration sticker arrival to the dealership is relayed back to you! Outside of work, Nadia is a fantastic cook; her stuffed vine leaves are to not-quite-die-for, but they’re not far off!!!
