The 2022 Honda Civic redesign is comprehensive; almost every element has been completely reimagined. Don’t worry, it’s still the same Civic that you know and love. It just happens to be sharper, more inviting, and more fun to drive:
A wider rear track and a rear-shifted windshield pillar give the new Honda Civic a wider stance and a more aggressive, energetic look.
An 8% improvement in torsional rigidity and a 13% improvement in bending rigidity make the Civic more nimble and responsive than ever before. Steering and suspension have been improved as well. Expect to have more fun on every drive through Leander and Georgetown.
The 2022 Honda Civic Sedan will be offered in three new colors: Meteorite Gray Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, and exclusive Morning Mist Blue Metallic.
The Civic cockpit has been redesigned to offer improved visibility. A redesigned instrument panel and a new honeycomb mesh dashboard foster a more premium look and feel inside the cabin.
One of the most notable additions to the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan is a new 7-inch central touchscreen, now standard on the most accessible trim in the lineup. The Civic also receives a standard LCD instrument cluster display, and an all-digital cluster display is standard on Civic Touring models.
Those who upgrade to the Civic Touring trim will also receive this model’s first-ever Bose® audio system and a 9-inch central touchscreen display.
The standard 2.0L i4 engine, included on Honda Civic LX and Honda Civic Sport models, has been optimized to provide even more power and even better fuel economy. Upgrade to the Civic EX or Civic Touring to receive a 1.5L turbocharged i4.
Honda Sensing™ will now offer Traffic Jam Assist technology, and the front camera view has been widened to take in more information. Updates to the Lane Keeping Assist System® (LKAS™) make it feel even more natural, and Low-Speed Braking Control is now available (for the first time) on the Civic Sedan Touring trim.
